Grasshopper Photo

Here's how the story went...

There were very few clouds in the sky, the sun was at a perfect angle making the temperature just right, and best of all there was no traffic. I had just finished my daily workout and was on my way home. The music was cranked up to full volume and I was just jamming it out. Pulling up into the driveway was no biggy...parking in my usual spot. I was about to do my routine of walking in the house showering to cool myself off when all of a sudden I remembered...today was no ordinary day...it was trash day.

Since the trash and recycle trucks had already passed by all I had to do was haul the two bins back to the house...easy right? Wrong!

On my trek towards the house, out of nowhere, a giant grasshopper leaps from the bushes! I'll admit it I was freaked out. Anyway I pretty much threw the two bins at the fence and ran inside the house to grab the camera.

I scurried back out and met face to face with my victim. I'll tell you he was a tough cookie, I must of circled him 50 times before he would stop rotating! Finally the bug-muncher stood still, allowing me to take aim.

I peeked through the scope and...click! That's it, hope you enjoy!
